Study reveals Colomesus (psittacus) puffer diet
So this is interesting - a study shows exactly what's going down the throat of this unique brackish species. Remember that this species is the brackish fish, and not its relative, Colomesus asellus, which is only found in fresh water.

Welcome to HalfWaySalty
Hi there!
Welcome to my blog! Well, it's much less a blog and more of a database and news cache about brackish/estuarine fish from around the world. Here you'll find the latest and greatest info about these half-way salty creatures, in particular from the aquarists' view.
Me? I haven't been keeping fish for nearly as long as many of the ''experts'' around the internet, but I do have quite the passion for the hobby and in particular the brackish/oddball side of things.
No promises of regular updates, but they will be done!
Finally, unless stated otherwise, the pictures and info are *kinda* my property. You may use it freely, but please link back to this site if you do.
Happy reading!
Tim
